Arbour Group recently completed the validation of SAP enterprise software for Belupo Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics, Koprivnica, Croatia. Belupo is the leading manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical products for the cardiovascular system as well as the second largest manufacturer of cosmetics in Croatia.
Belupo implemented SAP Quality Management (QM) functionality to improve control of materials and more reliably integrate with laboratory systems. The enhanced controls complement a stated company assurance to provide consistent high quality for all of its products.
Arbour Group utilized its proprietary SAP Life Sciences Compliance Package to perform the validation for version 6.0. The SAP Compliance Package consists of validation templates and pre-written tests scripts that resulted in (1) reduced time to develop validation documentation, (2) reduced time for testing, (3) streamlined integration into implementation processes and (4) cost effectively achieving regulatory compliance.
